Under the Needle: Denim Waterlilies in the works

I’ve always admired Claude Monet’s waterlilies series. Inspired by his work I created a denim waterlily piece named Reflections, but now I’m working on an even bigger one.

The image in this post is just a small hint of the water reflections which will support the waterlilies to come. Works in progress are messy so I have to be patient and remind myself that in the end all the loose threads will be tied off and in their place.

I can’t wait to unveil it to you all when it is complete.
