Indigo Day Out: The Next Generation

40 students, 40 pairs of hands, 40 pieces of fabric and 2 indigo vats.  I had the privilege of taking my indigo vat to a local school for the morning and introduce the grade 5 & 6 classes to indigo dyeing and three Shibori folding techniques.

The result was a clothesline full of beautiful indigo dyed and unique fabric swatches. It was a great day! The students were enthusiastic and the weather cooperated. What more could you ask for!
