Waterlilies Taking Shape

I’ve been working on a large textile art piece using denim for some time now and it’s been exciting to see it take shape over the last few months.

Today I worked on creating textile waterlilies using white denim fabric and they are really taking shape.

The process of having an idea and having to work out all the separate parts felt daunting when I began this art project but now that I’m past the half way mark I can see more clearly what the final piece will look like and I’m loving it. It’s very exciting to see all the parts of this large piece coming together!
