It’s always worth taking the time to revisit your techniques and experiment with new ways of working with materials.
I recently spent an incredible week with a group of talented women for a collaborative deep dive into natural dyeing, indigo, and ecoprinting. Working with live, organic processes is inherently unpredictable—and this week was no exception!
Among all our tests, the most striking results came from three silk ecoprinting experiments using different dye blankets:
Iron blanket
Titanium blanket
Logwood blanket
