Art in Action: Give & Receive (SOLD)

Creating art is a personal process where I as an artist create something out of the resources available to me. These resources vary from: my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. There are also organic and controlled processes that affect the physical materials I chose to work with. Every time I begin with an idea it changes and evolves as I work. Sometimes I change my mind, sometimes the materials react differently than originally planned, and sometimes things external to me reroute my mood or emotions and alter how I finish a piece.

Give & Receive was started a few years ago and was just waiting for me work through where I wanted it to go. It was influenced by another piece, Hover Fly Orbit, and I finally knew how I wanted it to look.
